During the meeting of the executive committee, decisions were made concerning the community’s defense capabilities, infrastructure, transport, entrepreneurship and assistance to those affected by the war.
The most important issues were to increase the level of defense of the community and support those who suffered as a result of Russia’s war against the civilian population of Ukraine. Regarding the first issue, more than UAH 11 million was allocated to help defenders, military units and the National Police, and to strengthen the community. For measures to prevent and eliminate the consequences of an emergency situation in a building or residential building, members of the executive committee allocated UAH 5 million. The funds will be used for the current repair of housing in the Sumy city territorial community, as everyone understands the importance of restoring the damaged property as soon as possible when the weather conditions allow.
More than UAH 15 million was allocated for the needs of the housing and communal services sector. The most important areas for which funding was allocated are: repair of the street and road network throughout the community, reconstruction (rehabilitation) of the gravity sewer from the intersection of st. Kharkivska and street Sumy-Kyiv divisions to the intersection of st. Cherkasy and street Linear, reconstruction (rehabilitation) of the gravity collector from the street. Kharkivska, 30/1 on the street Prokofiev to KNS-6 and to provide services for cleaning water intake wells in the village. B. Sandy.
In addition, members of the executive committee supported the decision to introduce new private passenger service providers in the city. As the head of the community Oleksandr Lysenko reported earlier, such actions of the city authorities are connected with the unscrupulous fulfillment of the terms of the agreements by the carriers. This issue will now be addressed by the relevant department, which plans to attract new businesses.
At each meeting, there are issues related to business support. This time, decisions were made that regulate the business of seasonal trade (coffee sales, operation of summer playgrounds).
