The head of the health care department, Olena CHUMACHENKO, provided information about the situation in the medical field for the past week during the staff meeting.
The official reported that the medical institutions subordinated to the Department of Health continued to work on high alert and provide patients with all necessary outpatient and inpatient care.
Currently, there are 1,212 patients, including 111 children, in the inpatients of city hospitals. Health care facilities are equipped with everything necessary to provide medical care.
The situation with the incidence of coronavirus remains stable. 32 adults were diagnosed with COVID-19 (21 adult patients are receiving oxygen support, six patients are in intensive care beds). Also, two children fell ill last week. Six children are hospitalized with suspicion of the aforementioned illness, one of them is in the intensive care unit.
Vaccinations against the coronavirus are also being carried out.
In accordance with the approved schedules, work is being carried out in preparation for work in the autumn-winter period. Cooperation with volunteers, public organizations and humanitarian headquarters is ongoing. Monitoring of grant opportunities for the participation of medical institutions is carried out.
In addition, a reserve of medicines has been formed in medical facilities and community institutions, which will last from two to six months (depending on the drugs and materials).
